Country Cow Designs is a Cornwall-based small business known for its creative sewing pattern designs. Initially operating with a basic website and later a WooCommerce store, the brand quickly evolved to meet growing demand. Today, Country Cow Designs not only offers downloadable patterns but also sells physical products and runs a brick-and-mortar store in Newquay. With international reach and a diverse customer base, they needed an ecommerce solution that could scale with their ambitions, both online and offline.
The challenge
Country Cow Designs was held back by a slow, clunky WooCommerce site. Customers found it difficult to download patterns, the user interface lacked consistency, and the admin panel was complicated, leading to increased support requests and manual workload. They needed a streamlined, scalable solution that could grow with their business.

Grizzlyware delivered a fully customised ecommerce experience tailored to Country Cow’s unique product offering. Key features included:

The build also supported international sales and allowed for greater customer and operational flexibility, a major upgrade from the plugin-reliant WooCommerce setup.

Since the launch of the Aero-powered site, Country Cow Designs has seen a significant reduction in admin time and support emails. Staff now have better access to reporting tools, customers find the website easier to use, and average order values and conversion rates have increased.
